On the 8th March 2019, Krishnaveni Kandula (shown above) and the ladies at Stanpumps Engineering Industries celebrated 'International Women's Day' with others from the Standard Group, friends and relatives.

The ladies celebrated the day at the Hotel Shubham Celebrations, in Hyderabad, each speaking at the podium. The group then celebrated with dancing, food and festivities.

Everyone has a part to play to create a gender-balanced world - all the time, everywhere from the smallest shop to the largest corporation.

From grassroots activism to worldwide action, we are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects gender-balance and equality.

The future is exciting and we must continue ALL efforts to build a gender-balanced world with gender-equality.
